Welcome to Lex & Jan, a space for moms, daughters, and women passionate about empowering the next generation of young women. My name is Janet, and I’m the heart behind this initiative. At my core, I’m a devout Christian, a dedicated wife, and a proud mother of three beautiful children—a daughter and two sons who inspire me every day.

My journey began in the corporate world, where I navigated the complexities of finance and leadership., Armed with an MBA in Finance, I partnered with my husband and started a construction management company we nurtured and grew for a decade. This venture was more than a business; it was a testament to what faith, hard work, and partnership could achieve.

Yet, amidst the achievements and milestones, I felt I was being called to do something more than just lead projects or manage finances. My heart is in helping women be more productive and achieve their God-given dreams and goals and also empower and equip mothers and their daughters with essential life skills that are not taught in the traditional educational system.

Here at Lex & Jan, I merge my wealth of experience in leadership, finance, and entrepreneurship with the timeless values of etiquette, homemaking, and faith. My mission is to create a community where moms can find resources, inspiration, and support to mentor their daughters into becoming tomorrow’s confident, capable, and compassionate leaders.

Why focus on these skills? Because proper education goes beyond academics. It’s about preparing our young women to navigate life’s challenges gracefully, make informed decisions, and lead with integrity and compassion. From managing personal finances to understanding the importance of etiquette, from nurturing an entrepreneurial spirit to grounding oneself in faith, these skills are the pillars upon which strong, independent, and successful women are built.
